Liberty joined SSR Planning full-time in September 2006 having previously worked for the company during her University vacations. She has been working hard towards her Assessment of Professional Competence Statement and has recently successfully gained her RTPI accreditation.
Liberty promotes strategic urban extensions and other smaller scale sites through the development plan system. With an increasing emphasis on front loading this involves making detailed representations to Development Plan Documents.
She works on planning applications for a variety of land uses at both strategic and local level. She is currently involved with the project co-ordination for mixed-use sustainable urban extension comprising 700 dwellings and 11 hectares of employment land. Liberty also works on site appraisals, site specific advice and assisting with housing land supply issues.
