The Coalition’s Approach to Planning
The Coalition Agreement heralded a programme of decentralization and democratic engagement as the precursor to a radical reform of the planning system. Some progress in implementing its agenda has already been made by the Government; most notably with its announcement of the rapid abolition of the Regional Spatial Strategies. Ministerial statements and other guidance are being issued on almost a daily basis which makes it difficult to ensure our Web News is always up-to-date.
