Irthlingborough Urban Extension application submitted
SSR Planning is part of the project team advising Hallam Land Management and B.S. Pension Fund Trustee Ltd in respect of a major development on land west of Irthlingborough. An outline application was submitted to East Northamptonshire Council in May 2010 and proposes up to 700 dwellings, 7.5 hectares of employment land, open space and land for the expansion of Huxlow Science College.
SSR Planning was responsible for preparing the Planning Statement, which was one of several key documents submitted in support of the planning application, and contributing to the Environmental Statement which accompanies the application.
The proposed development is consistent with the North Northamptonshire Core Strategy and broadly accords with the emerging local development framework (now being taken forward as the Four Towns Plan).
